Mr.Springfield

Looking through my archives I came upon a piece of Irish Equestrian history. I recorded the N.I International Horse Show 2008 where Mr.Springfield hung up the saddle after a long and distinguished international Career. Discovered by Jimmy McCluskey who had a long association with the Smith Showjumping family when he came on a "real one" he knew where to go. Robert Smith took the horse on.

As a 7 year old won the Grand Prix at the Horse of The Year Show.

Mr.Springfield represented Great Britain in numerous Nations cup teams, World Cups and a froth place in the Athens Olympics.
